PUTRAJAYA: The Home Minister will decide on Parti Pejuang Tanah Air's (Pejuang) appeal to be registered as a political party as ordered by the court.

       "I have been asked to decide so I will decide (on the matter)," said Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin on Friday (June 25).

       He however did not give a specific time as to when the decision on Pejuang's application would be made.

       The Kuala Lumpur High Court ordered the Home Minister to make a decision within 14 days from June 25 on Pejuang's appeal to be registered.

       Judge Ahmad Kamal Md Shahid allowed Pejuang's judicial review application to compel the minister to decide on the group's appeal against the Registrar of Societies' refusal to register it.
