SIBU: A total of 672 policemen have carried out early voting so far for the 12th Sarawak Elections on Tuesday (Dec 14).

       Acting Sibu OCPD Supt Collin Babat said of the number, 550 are from the Pelawan constituency, 40 from Bawang Assan, and 82 from Dudong.

       Supt Collin said canopies were set up by the Election Commission to isolate those with Covid-19 symptoms.

       He urged those with symptoms to report to the canopies for a smoother voting process.

       “We don’t want one or two with symptoms to jeopardise the voting process,” he said.
