PETALING JAYA: Petronas Gas Bhd (PetGas) has awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract to the consortium of Carimin Engineering Services Sdn Bhd and Drill Pipelines Constructions Sdn Bhd for the extension of lateral gas pipeline to ND Paper Malaysia (Selangor) Sdn Bhd in Banting, Selangor.

       The contract, worth some RM92mil, is for the construction of 10km of lateral pipeline and metering station to supply natural gas to a paper making plant owned by ND Paper located at the Banting Industrial City in Selangor.

       The project is targeted to be completed and commissioned in August 2023, PetGas said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
