KUALA LUMPUR: This is among a property owner's worst nightmares.
You buy an apartment for investment, carefully furnish it to add value and after finding someone to whom you can rent it out, that person turns out to be a "tenant from hell".
A collection of pictures shared on Facebook since New Year's Eve serves as a reminder of the risk that all property investors must face.
It has since been shared more than 3,000 times.
The pictures reveal how the tenant dumped used face masks, spent toilet rolls, soiled clothing, plastic bags, paper scraps and empty bottles all over the apartment.
The king-size bed, which was separated from the headboard, appears to have been slept on without a bedsheet.
Nothing more is known of the situation except that the apartment is somewhere in the Klang Valley, the tenant is local and stayed there alone for three months, and the apartment owner is relieved that the tenant finally left.
