The Swedish environmental activist will lead hundreds of furious activists from Kelvingrove Park to the city centre to protest 'greenwashing'. So-called 'greenwashing' is a form of marketing spin in which big businesses attempt to persuade the public that their products, aims and policies are environmentally friendly - a dishonesty which activists say is destroying the planet. Hours before the protest is due to begin, Ms Thunberg said: "COP26 has been named the must excluding COP ever, this is no longer a climate conference. This is a Global North greenwash festival, it is a two-week celebration of business as usual and blah blah blah."
