PETALING JAYA: Aid will be given to poor and needy Ayer Hitam constituents in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

       In a Facebook post Sunday (April 24), the Ayer Hitam MP said that he had met with Semarang assemblyman Datuk Samsol Bari Jamali, who is also Johor state assembly Deputy Speaker.

       “YB Datuk Samsol and myself have been chosen as representatives since 2004. We have worked together closely to care for the people in our areas for the last 18 years," the MCA president said.

       Dr Wee added that during the discussion, they talked about projects that would benefit the people in 2022.

       “We also talked about the final preparations for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri aid ceremony for the poor and needy, which is due to be held in Ayer Hitam on April 30,” said Dr Wee, who is also Transport Minister.
