SEREMBAN: The flood situation in Negri Sembilan has improved slightly with 329 victims from 89 families putting up at five relief centres in the state as of noon Wednesday (Dec 22), says the Civil Defence Force.
The relief centres are SK Ulu Beranang in Seremban; and SMK Teriang Hilir, Dewan D'Sury, SK Dato' Undang Abdullah and the Kg Puom community hall, all in Jelebu.
The number of evacuees currently putting up at the four centres in Jelebu totalled 303 while 26 are at the Seremban centre.
As of 4pm on Tuesday (Dec 21), 358 individuals from 93 families were moved to six centres after their houses were affected by floods.
