The televised debate - due to air at 10.35pm on BBC One - will include Employment Minister Mims Davies and Labour MP Stella Creasy. It will also feature Jordan Peterson, former chief prosecutor Nazir Afzal and SNP business spokesperson Stephen Flynn MP.

       Reacting to the panel, @RoyPenny3 commented: “Well known z-listers as usual”.

       Meanwhile @fooy64 said: “The current situation requires a stellar panel.

       “This isn't it. So disappointing.”

       And @robboluvsqpr replied: “BBC remains one of my favourite channels. And I am interested in politics.

       “But I have to admit I gave up on this programme.”
