BATU PAHAT: Former education minister and Simpang Renggam MP Dr Maszlee Malik is PKR's sixth candidate for the Johor state elections.
Party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who made the announcement on Monday (Feb 14), also confirmed Maszlee would be contesting in Layang Layang, a state seat under the Simpang Renggam constituency.
Earlier, Anwar announced PKR's candidates for five seats in the southern region, in Johor Baru.
They were state women's wing chief Napsiah Khamis (Kempas), Chiong Sen Sern (Bukit Batu), S. Gopalakrishnan (Tiram), Dr Zamil Najwah Arbain (Larkin) and Fakhruddin Moslim (Pasir Raja).
