Sources have confirmed that the Queen will no longer attend public engagements alone and instead will be accompanied by at least one other member of the Royal Family. This comes as the family received backlash for allowing the Queen to complete a busy schedule in recent weeks. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles and Camilla, and Prince Edward and Sophie are among those expected to step up in support of the monarch.

       Royal expert Angela Levin spoke about the Queen's health on Sky News.

       She said: "I think people are not going to put pressure on her to do as many engagements as she would like.

       "I think they will ease right off her, so they should.

       "She's also not going to go anywhere without one of the senior royals being with her, so if she doesn't feel very well, somebody can do it. She doesn't have to let people down."

       Ms Levin continued: "I think this will make her feel more relaxed and will work very well.

       "What's very nice is we hear so much criticism of the Royal Family, how they're not friendly and they fight and they don't like each other.

       "Here we see them actually being like any good family should be.

       "Helping out your mother or grandmother, because although she is a superwoman, she is not going to be a superwoman forever.

       "This will help her continue and feel secure and loved by her family."

       The concerns for the Queen's health have come after it was announced that she spent last Wednesday in a London hospital.

       This came a few days after the monarch cancelled an official visit to Northern Ireland, announcing that she was under doctor's orders to rest.

       The hospital stay was for "preliminary testing," and is thought not to be related to coronavirus.
