KUALA LUMPUR: Pentamaster Corp Bhd’s net profit for the first quarter (1Q) ended March 31, 2022, increased to RM20.4mil from RM16.07mil a year ago.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the automation solutions and services provider said revenue rose by 26.8% to RM146.02mil from RM115.17mil previously, mainly due to contributions from its automated test equipment and factory automation solutions segments.
Moving forward, the group aims to deliver on pending orders as per schedule, barring any significant adverse impact due to supply chain bottlenecks, logistics constraints and geopolitical knots.
“Overall, the group is optimistic on achieving another record year of business growth while continuously focusing on developing a broader product portfolio across key markets and segments, while upskilling the workforce,” it said. — Bernama
