Distraught Natasha Ingham said Freddie Farrow was "always smiling". Natasha, 37, of Colchester, said: "He was such a lovely little boy, and very cheeky in a lot of ways.

"He used to pick me flowers every day - it could have been daisies or whatever he could get his hands on - and give them to me and tell me he loved me and I would tell him I loved him back.

The mother of three added: "Everyone who knew Freddie just loved him. He was that kind of boy. He was always smiling and he really loved going to the beach."

Freddie's father Andrew Farrow said: "He had such a contagious laugh and always pulled funny faces."

Freddie had been looking forward to starting year two at Gosbecks Primary School in Colchester, and was due to visit Legoland for his sixth birthday.

The mirror fell on his head at the family's local Fenwick two weeks ago. He died at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, six days later. Fenwick temporarily closed the store as a mark of respect.

A Go Fund Me online page has received nearly £5,000 to support the family.
