KUALA LUMPUR: Hong Seng Consolidated Bhd 's sub-subsidiary Neogenix Sdn Bhd has received a letter of appointment from the office of the Chief Minister of Johor to provide Covid-19 screen tests for arrivals at all international gateways and domestic borders in the state.

       Neogenix is a 60%-owned subsidiary of HS Bio Sdn Bhd, which is in turn fully owned by Hong Seng.

       In a bourse filing, it said the contract will commence on Nov 29 2021, for two years with an option for renewal.

       It said the board expects the appointment to contribute positively to its earnings as well as earnings per share over the duration of the contract.
