A man was fatally shot Wednesday in Prince George’s County, authorities said.

       Prince George’s police said the shooting happened around 2:15 p.m. in the 7400 block of Hill Burne Drive in the Landover area. Officers found a man on the ground with gunshot wounds, and he was taken to a hospital, where he died.

       The victim was later identified as Marvin Scutchings Jr., 58, of Landover.

       The case is under investigation.
