       A man was shot fatally Monday afternoon in Prince George’s County, the county police said.

       Officers responding to a report of a shooting found the man on the ground in the 7000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway about 1:10 p.m.

       He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

       The man’s name was not immediately available, and no information was provided about any motive or suspect.

       The site is near a shopping area south of Columbia Park Road in a section of the county sometimes referred to as Greater Landover.
