SEPANG: A man was killed after he was attacked in front of his house here.

       Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said the incident occurred at 11.30pm on Friday (Sept 11).

       "He went out of his house because he felt unwell and as he opened the gate, a red car arrived, ferrying four to five people.

       "Two suspects came out. One stabbed the victim at the back and head, while the other attacked the victim with a helmet," he said on Sunday (Sept 12).

       The victim was rushed to Putrajaya Hospital but was later pronounced dead.

       A report was then lodged by the victim's wife.

       Forensics police found the suspected weapons at the scene of the crime; a machete and a helmet.

       "On Sept 12 at 9.30am, four suspects were arrested at Ladang Sepang. Two cars, including the one used by the suspects during the incident, were also seized," he said.

       Of the four arrested men, three had priors, including for causing harm with weapons and criminal intimidation.

       It is believed that a prior argument led to the fatal attack.

       The case has been classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code, for murder.
