PUTRAJAYA: Long lines of people have been gathering since 8am on Sunday (May 8) to attend the Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at Seri Perdana here.
The annual Hari Raya do at the Prime Minister's official residence was not held for the past two years due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions on movement and gathering.
This year's celebration involves some 20 tents set up for the public to enjoy a Raya spread of 40 dishes and desserts.
It includes Rojak Bera, a delicacy enjoyed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who is also the Bera MP.
Some 50,000 to 70,000 visitors from all walks of life are expected to attend the open house, which ends at 4pm.
