PUTRAJAYA: A total of seven localities will be placed under enhanced movement control order (MCO) effective from Sept 1.
In Sabah, the affected localities are Kampung Lotong in Kota Marudu and Kampung Penangah in Tongod.
In Kuala Krai, Kelantan, three localities - Lata Tuai, Kampung Tok Uban and Kampung Kubang Kerian - will be placed under enhanced MCO.
According to the National Security Council (NSC), two villages in Bera, Pahang, will be placed under the same order - Kampung Batu Papan and Kampung Batu Papan Tengah.
“The order will be placed in these localities for 14 days. It will take effect until Sept 14,” the NSC said in a statement on Monday (Aug 30).
The NSC also announced that the lockdown placed on two villages in Pahang and Sabah will be extended until Sept 14.
The localities are Kampung Temalian in Ulu Dong, Raub, and Kampung Hidayat Batu 4 in Tawau.
Separately, the enhanced MCO that was enforced on several localities earlier have been lifted.
These include Kampung Luit in Maran, Pahang, Kampung Kuala Abai in Kota Belud in Sabah, as well as Kampung Mentadak Baru, Kampung Sri Aman Batu 3 ?, Taman Semarak Jaya, Lorong Damai and Lorong Marzuki in Tawau, Sabah.
