Tom told The Sun 'I am overwhelmed that our Full Time Meals Christmas campaign, supporting FareShare, has already hit 250,000 meals'
Every £1 spent by the FareShare scheme, seen in The Sun last weekend, pays for the delivery of four meals.
The cost is kept so low as the charity gets hold of unsold food destined for the bin.
Last night, Tom and Marcus thanked readers, adding they’d been blown away by your generosity.
Tom told The Sun “I am overwhelmed that our Full Time Meals Christmas campaign, supporting FareShare, has already hit 250,000 meals, the difference this will make to so many people can’t be underestimated.
“I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported both Full Time Meals and FareShare, and please, if you haven’t donated and you can support please do, it will make all the difference to so many people this Christmas.”
