The Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge will focus on getting “good publicity” for the event. But they may encounter some nerves as they reunite after relations became “tense”, according to a royal expert.

       Brittani Barger, Deputy Editor of Royal Central, a US platform reporting Royal Family-related news, said the event will focus on paying tribute to the late Princess.

       She explained that the statue ceremony took the focus over Prince William’s 39th birthday earlier this week.

       Ms Barger told the Daily Star: "There is a lot of focus on Diana at the moment because of the statue unveiling and this year being what would have been her 60th birthday.

       “So there is more focus on her than on his birthday this year, but I don’t think he would mind that the attention is off him.”

       But the expert highlighted that the Duke of Cambridge “loves his mother and wants the statue unveiling to go well and get good publicity to honour her.”

       Ms Barger added: “William and Harry will be very much focused on their mother and uniting for her and her memory.

       “There may be some nerves as relations have been tense with the Oprah interview and other revelations.”

       Earlier this week, a source claimed that Prince Harry accepted the Oprah Winfrey interview within 24 hours after being left “very cross” as his remaining military titles were removed.
