One person was killed in a car crash Monday on Central Avenue in Seat Pleasant, Md., police said.

       The crash involved at least two vehicles and occurred a few minutes before 4 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Central Avenue at Ritchie Road, according to reports from the Seat Pleasant town police and the Prince George’s County Fire and EMS department.

       Seat Pleasant is a town within Prince George’s. The site of the crash is about one mile west of the Capital Beltway and about the same distance south of FedEx Field, the home of the Washington Commanders football team.

       Details of the crash, as well as the victim’s name, age and gender, were not immediately available on Monday evening.
