QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of a petition challenging the detention of Dr Mahrang Baloch, chief organiser of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), and 90 others from the Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal) and the National Party.
A division bench, comprising Acting Chief Justice Ejaz Ahmed Swati and Justice Muhammad Aamir Rana, briefly resumed the proceedings before postponing the case to Wednesday.
The adjournment came after the court was informed that the advocate general for Balochistan, who was expected to submit a reply on behalf of the provincial government, was unable to attend due to a cabinet meeting.
