KOTA KINABALU: It was the Lahad Datu OCPD's 16-year-old daughter who found her younger sister's body, dead from a gunshot, says Tan Sri Razarudin Husain (pic).

The Inspector-General of Police said the elder sister had just returned home from school on Tuesday (April 16) when she found the 14-year-old victim in a pool of blood.

"We are still trying to determine how it happened and other details.

"I urge the public to stop speculating on this matter as our investigation is underway," he said on Wednesday (April 17).

Berita Harian quoted him as saying that there were no arrests as there was no sign of foul play and that the case had been classified as sudden death.

Lahad Datu OCPD Asst Comm Dzulbaharin Ismail's daughter was found lying in a pool of blood in a room at Taman Tabanak, Lahad Datu, with a gun in her hand at 12.42pm on Tuesday.
