Snapchat footage captures a disabled girl being kicked on the floor (Image: MEN Media)
This is the upsetting moment a schoolgirl, thought to be disabled, was filmed on social media being attacked by other students in Manchester.
In footage shared on the social media platform Snapchat, one girl is seen kicking another while she's lying on the floor screaming.
The girls are thought to be students at Dixons Brooklands Academy, Wythenshawe, with the incident taking place at a tram stop on the same road as the school.
One of the girls is seen following another before pulling the victim to the floor and kicking her in the face, reported the Manchester Evening News.
The school said it "acted quickly" to the incident and reacted to a similar incident, thought to be targeting the same disabled student, that took place in the last week.

Transport for Greater Manchester called it 'sickening behaviour' (Image: MEN Media)
Dixons Brooklands Academy said in a statement: "We are aware of two separate incidents that recently happened in the community. We have acted quickly to address both incidents. The police have been informed."
Kate Green, TravelSafe Partnership manager at Transport for Greater Manchester described it as "sickening behaviour" and said the transport network takes a "zero tolerance" approach to crime and anti-social behaviour.
She said the regional tram system, MetroLink, has CCTV on all its stops and trams and says TfGM will do "whatever we can" to support any police investigation.
She said: "We strongly condemn the sickening behaviour shown by a young person towards another in this video, which is difficult to watch."
She added: "We also run an extensive youth engagement programme to educate young people about the impact and consequences of crime and antisocial behaviour on public transport and will be contacting the school that these pupils attend."
