KUALA LUMPUR: Graphic artist and designer Fahmi Reza has been called up by the police again.
Fahmi said he was summoned on Friday (April 22).
"I return to Bukit Aman today for an appointment with the police," he posted on Facebook with a photo of himself in front of the Federal police headquarters.
He did not elaborate on the reason he was called in.
On April 14, Fahmi was arrested over his drawing of a chimpanzee cartoon character dressed in what appeared similar to royal attire.
He was arrested by the Bukit Aman CID Special Investigations Unit at Dang Wangi police headquarters here.
He was subsequently released on April 16.
Fahmi's lawyer Rajsurian Pillai had said at the time that his client was being investigated under Section 4 of the Sedition Act and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act over the post on Facebook.
On April 13, Fahmi posted a drawing of chimpanzee Mojo Jojo, the villain from “The Powerpuff Girls” cartoon show, dressed in what resembles royal attire.
