       KUWAIT CITY, Dec 14: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said between January 1 and 16, 2022, free food supplies will be distributed to the frontline workers – for employees of the ministries of Health and Interior for both the citizens, Gulf nationals, bedoun and expatriates, after 50 million dinars is said to have been allocated to cover the costs, reports Al-Qabas daily. According to reliable sources the Ministry of Health will prepare a statement within two weeks listing the names of the deserving employees so they can benefit from the longawaited free supplies.

       The sources said those employees who are covered by the free ration reward for 6 months, are believed to be about 91,000 beneficiaries (workers of all nationalities from the ministries of Health and Interior, and their eligible dependents in which case the total number of people for free ration will reach more than 400,000), bearing in mind that the total cost of the individual who meets the conditions for free ration stipend ranges between 90 and 100 dinars for the designated period.
