PETALING JAYA: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd is expected to issue its 2021 annual report by this Thursday.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas services company said its 2021 annual report and the audited financial statements remained outstanding, as the company needed more time to update the statements or reports and make arrangements for printing.

       “The company will issue the annual report as soon as possible by the above-expected date of issuance,” Serba Dinamik said.

       Separately, Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) said its external auditor had expressed a qualified opinion on the company’s audited financial statement for the financial year ended June 30, 2021.

       In a statement, SCIB said there was a deviation of more than 10% between the profit after tax and non-controlling interest of the company stated in the unaudited sixth quarterly results for the financial period ended June 30, 2021 announced on Sept 30, 2021 (unaudited results) and audited financial statements.

       “The factors contributing to the deviation amongst others include the recognition of a gain amounting to RM5.5mil in relation to the settlement agreement with Gaya Belian Sdn Bhd and others, which was reclassified from movement in reserves to other income.

       “Others include the RM1.7mil consultancy fees expensed off due to unsuccessful projects,” it added.
