People online have compared Donald Trump’s humour to Elon Musk’s and there’s a mix of opinions.
There are those who see the president of the United States to be a rather funny individual, often making crowds laugh and even making the royals giggle, according to body language expert, Judi James, the Express reported. However, Trump’s senior advisor and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has spent less time in the limelight and is seen as having a more quiet personality.

Musk’s humour came into question when a user on X posted a clip of him attempting to make a joke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) about the left “wanting to make comedy illegal.” This led the user to compare Musk’s sense of humour with the president’s.
In the caption of their post on X they wrote: “Trump is loathsome in many ways but he’s also genuinely very funny when he’s doing jokes. Musk has this palpable desperation to be seen as funny and he’s just really bad at it.”
The post has garnered 2.9 million views, 39,000 likes, 1,100 comments and 1,600 retweets since it was shared five days ago. Users were quick to have their say on the topic.

One claimed: “It's to be expected. He's the loveable nerd that the jocks have put on their shoulders as a lark and are parading around the field after a massive win. Part of him is worried that it will all disappear in the aftermath of the big game.”

“Both are out of touch, prioritizing spectacle over substance. America deserves better than this clown show.”

Donald Trump returned to office for the second time on Monday, January 20 as the 47th US President, taking over from Joe Biden. Elon Musk, former CEO of X, is in close contact with Trump as his senior advisor and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
