SHAH ALAM: A search and rescue operation has resumed for two missing foreign fish farm workers who fell into the sea in the waters of Pulau Tengah in Klang.
Both men - Indonesian Priadi, 34, and Myanmar national Saw Bearry Htoo, 30 - were last seen wearing white shirts with blue pants.
However, they were not wearing safety jackets when they fell while working on a kelong (fish farm) at around 4pm on Thursday.
Selangor MMEA director Maritime Captain Mohd Rosli Kassim said the second day of the operation, which was coordinated by the Johor Baru Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre (MRSC), started at 7am yesterday.
A Pengawal 26 boat and two Maritime jet ski units were deployed in the search.
Yesterday’s operation was also assisted by boats from the Fire and Rescue Department, the Marine Police and the local fishing community. — Bernama
