PETALING JAYA: Police have recorded statements from 11 people in their investigation into a social media post alleging that Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister, Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali, had been stopped at a roadblock.
"Investigations are still being conducted to identify the people responsible for uploading the post, and to record other individuals linked to the case,” said Bukit Aman CID director, Comm Datuk Seri Abd Jalil Hassan.
He added in a statement on Tuesday (June 22) that the police advised everyone not to speculate or spread rumours about the matter without obtaining facts from official sources.
Previously, Terengganu police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Roslee Chik said Khairuddin was stopped at a roadblock in Perasing, Terengganu, on May 16.
