The Pertubuhan Pelindung Khazanah Alam Malaysia (Peka) president revealed that she had been summoned to attend proceedings at the Raub Sessions Court on March 15.

According to the sighted documents, Shariffa will be charged with three counts of illegal occupation of government land.

In the first charge, Shariffa allegedly committed the offence by illegally occupying a government lot in Mukim Tras, which is now the site of Tanah Aina Farrah Soraya Exclusive Eco Resort.

She is also expected to be charged with illegally occupying government land in Mukim Ulu Dong for the Tanah Aina Fahad Glamping Resort.

In the third charge, Shariffa allegedly occupied government land in Mukim Bentong without permission, for the Tanah Aina Fareena Cafe & Restaurant.

If found guilty of each charge under Section 425 of the National Land Code 1965, Shariffa can be fined up to RM500,000 or jailed not more than five years.

Shariffa, when contacted, said she had operated Tanah Aina for 12 years without any issues from the Pahang government.
