AMMAN, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Jordan on Monday launched a program aimed at creating one million jobs over the next decade.

       The program, called the Economic Modernisation Vision, entails 366 initiatives in various sectors to drive economic growth and generate jobs, according to a statement by the Royal Hashemite Court.

       The program will boost public-private partnerships and strengthen efforts to attract investments in several sectors to realize its objectives, the statement said.

       Jordan's Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh said the program's two main pillars focus on unleashing Jordan's economic potential to achieve comprehensive sustainable growth, and improving the quality and standard of living for all Jordanians, by enhancing various services such as education, health care, transport, and infrastructure.
