Twitter has just published a new privacy policy that comes into force from August 19. Users don’t have an opt-out option – once the policy is in force, they have to adhere to the stated Terms of Service (ToS) to continue using Twitter.

       The social media platform cannot offer this privacy policy for the EU or the US, because the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) offers users much more control of their personal data.
