PETALING JAYA: Evergreen Fibreboard Bhd (EFB) posted a net profit of RM4.2mil for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021, compared with a net loss of RM11.1mil in the corresponding quarter last year.

       The improvement was attributable to higher revenue, lower operation cost and higher foreign exchange gain.

       During the quarter in review, EFB’s revenue rose 23.4% to RM213.3mil from RM172.9mil in second-quarter 2020 on higher average selling price and sales volume from panel boards and downstream products.
