A WOMAN in Perak says she was sacked as a shop assistant after she accused her boss, the shop owner, of sexually harassing her, Kosmo! reported in its online edition.
According to her post on social media, the sexual harassment had been going on for eight months.
She said when she confronted him, he accused her of stealing and dismissed her, which made her feel humiliated.
However, she had managed to record a conversation where he had asked her to take off her pants while working at the shop.
Shocked by the revelation, social media users advised the woman to immediately lodge a police report.
> Kosmo! also reported that members of the Seventh Battalion of the General Operations Force (GOF7) seized a vehicle in Kelantan with 10 illegal immigrants inside, including a woman.
Two of them were hiding in the bonnet of the vehicle.
GOF7 commanding officer Supt Azhari Nusi said the arrest took place at the Pasir Mas bypass in Rantau Panjang at about 3am on Monday.
“All the illegal immigrants, a local who acted as liaison and the car were taken to the Jeram Perdah police station,” he added.
> A breeder was forced to sell one of his favourite cows due to the rising cost of feed, reported Harian Metro.
Ibrahim Mohammad, 70, from Kampung Gong Pok Maseh in Kuala Terengganu, said the Limousin cow, a French breed, weighed about 1,000kg.
Ibrahim said he had to sell off several other livestock, adding that the price of feed was now at its highest since he started breeding cattle 39 years ago.
He said his monthly operation cost had increased by over RM500.
“We can’t rely on grass because the cows will only gain weight slowly, and worse, they may even lose weight,” he said.
