A 31-year-old man was fatally shot in Chillum on Wednesday, Prince George’s police said.

       They are investigating the death of Oshane Davis, of Greenbelt, as a homicide.

       Police said Davis was shot in the 5700 block of 16th Avenue at an apartment building and drove to seek help at a business, located less than a mile away, according to an initial investigation.

       Officers responded to a reported shooting around 9 a.m. in the 1300 block of Chillum Road and found Davis with gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to a hospital, where he died shortly afterward, police said.

       An investigation to identify suspects and a possible motive is ongoing.
