       KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: On 21 November, Bangladesh Military Contingent (BMC) to Kuwait celebrated Bangladesh Armed Forces Day with due solemnity and festivity. His Excellency, the Ambassador of People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Major General Md Ashikuzzaman, ndc, afwc, psc, G, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Besides, senior officers of Kuwait Armed Forces, Defence Attachés of different countries, Bangladesh Embassy officials and representatives of Bangladesh community in Kuwait were among the spectators of this colourful event.

       Celebration of the Armed Forces Day

       At the outset, Commander BMC, Brigadier General Abdul Majid, ndc, psc, G delivered his welcome speech. His Excellency, the Ambassador of Bangladesh addressed the august gathering highlighting the importance of the day and emphasizing on the glorious history of friendship between Bangladesh and Kuwait. Enchanted display of band, acrobatic display and march past by BMC soldiers delighted all guests. Exhibition of photo gallery was of great attraction for the guests. Projection of Bangladesh Armed Forces since 1971 and the gradual development of BMC since its inception in 1991, was the main focus of photo gallery.
