KUWAIT CITY, June 13: Following the recent fire incident in Mangaf, an informed source at the Public Authority for Manpower revealed that numerous companies have taken steps to update their data. The source emphasized that failure to comply with this requirement may result in regulatory action.
Inspections of companies were already underway before the Mangaf fire incident. However, the source highlighted that companies failing to update their data will face consequences, as announcements urging data updates have been in place since March in coordination with the Public Authority for Civil Information.
Companies that neglect to update their data risk suspension of their file and activity. The source emphasized that any company found in violation will initially receive a warning. However, if the issue remains unresolved, the company’s file will be suspended without exception.
The source concluded by reiterating the importance of complying with data update requirements and emphasized that regulatory measures will be enforced to ensure compliance.
