KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9: The statement issued by the Directorate- General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is incomplete. It is true people were allowed to return after everyone was overwhelmed by the complexities of health system applications. However, they were late in facilitating the people and here we smell ‘stubbornness’. Today, the DGCA is saying Kuwaitis and others can enter the country only if they received the vaccines approved by the government – Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna or AstraZeneca. Countries all over the world have not specified any particular vaccine because what is important for them is that the people take the vaccination (whatever the vaccine is).
