The ballad is the favourite song of Max the German Shepherd and he couldn’t resist the temptation to howl along to the famous long note that starts the classic’s chorus.

       The hilarious clip, which was posted by the TikTok user @nautiescape, starts with Max cruising the water on a boat with his human counterpart, as his owner explains how much his pet adores the song.

       He states that everytime the song comes on, Max can’t help but begin to wail and sing along, before putting the song on and letting his dog showcase his skill.

       Once the easily recognisable chorus begins, Max starts to howl along in a tone equally as impressive as Whitney herself.

       Viewers were wowed by Max’s incredible abilities, with one commenting: “So much soul coming through that whooooo!! Love it.”

       Another commenter wrote: “This is the cutest thing I’ve seen all day! Adorable!”

       A third added: “Whitney channeling through him… adorable.”
