PETALING JAYA: Both of badminton icon Datuk Lee Chong Wei's sons have received their Covid-19 jabs.
In a Facebook post on Sunday (Feb 27), Lee said his two sons, Kingston and Terrance, had both been vaccinated.
"It seems like a return to normal life is close, let's fight the pandemic.
Using a badminton analogy, he said: "We are now leading 19-10. Just a little more."
In the sport, 21 points are needed to win a set.
He also posted photos of his two boys with "I have been vaccinated" placards.
However, it is unclear if this was the two boys' first or second doses.
ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Datuk Dr Anas Alam Faizli, also tweeted a photo of the sports icon and his family at an off-site vaccination centre (PPV) on Sunday.
"Datuk Lee Chong Wei has protected his children from Covid-19 with Pfizer paediatric vaccination today at PPV Offsite IOI, administered by IHeal appointed by ProtectHealthCo," he said.
In the photo, the two boys can be seen with their parents Lee and Wong Mew Choo, giving the "thumbs up" signs.
Under the PICKids programme, children aged five to 12 are administered Pfizer-BioNTech's Comirnaty 10mcg Concentrate for Dispersion vaccine.
There is an eight-week interval between the two doses.
