D.C. police on Wednesday said they arrested a 46-year man in connection with a July killing in Northeast Washington.
Christopher Tyler, of Northeast, has been charged with first-degree murder while armed in the fatal shooting of 34-year-old Nolan Edwards. The shooting occurred about 3:50 p.m. on July 7 in the 4100 block of Ames Street NE.

An attorney for Tyler was not listed in court records.
