A MUM was protecting her family when she was allegedly gunned down and killed by a 16-year-old boy in a triple shooting, a court heard.

       Lianne Gordon, 42, was blasted in the head at her home in Hackney, East London, as the teen tried to force his way in, it is said.

       The boy, who can't be named, had arrived at Vine Close on a bicycle and wearing a balaclava.

       Armed with a 9mm self-loading pistol, he allegedly first opened fire on Amani Adams-McGuire, 20, before injuring a 16-year-old boy.

       He then tried to force his way into Lianne's home by kicking and shoulder-barging the door, it is said.

       Prosecutor Louise Oakley told the Old Bailey: "Lianne Gordon tried to ensure that door closed to keep her family safe.

       "She was unable to do so and (the youth) continued to force his way into that property.

       "He discharged that firearm and the bullet struck Lianne Gordon in the head."

       The gunman fled the scene shortly after the horror last Tuesday, the court heard.

       Tragically, Lianne couldn't be saved and was declared dead at the scene while the other two victims were treated in hospital.

       Police confirmed they were not related but are believed to have been known to each other.

       The boy was charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.

       He is also accused of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.

       The teen has been remanded into youth detention accommodation ahead of a plea hearing on March 8.
