KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) Nicholas Kudi Jantai is leading with 1,903 votes in Baleh, according to state news agency TV Sarawak.
The Baleh state seat is seeing a four-cornered fight between Nicholas, DAP’s Kenneth Usang George, PBK’s Sukarno Layau, and PSB’s Koh Kumbong.
After Nicholas, Koh Kumbong has 863 votes, Kenneth (199) and Sukarno (45).
Nicholas is defending the seat for GPS, a constituency held by his late uncle Tan Sri Dr James Jemut Masing for eight terms.
Meanwhile, GPS candidate for Stakan, Datuk Hamzah Brahim, is currently leading with 832 votes, followed by PSB’s George Yong Si Ricord Junior’s 255, DAP’s Leslie Ting (71), and PBK’s Atet Anak Dego (42).
The Stakan seat is seeing a four-cornered fight between GPS, PSB, DAP and PBK.
