A 19-YEAR-OLD driver has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a teenage girl was killed in a horror crash.
The 17-year-old girl, a passenger in the car, tragically died in hospital after suffering serious injuries in the smash in Melbourne, Derbyshire in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services raced to the collision involving one car, a red Seat Leon, on the A514 near to the junction of Breach Lane at 12.30am.
The 17-year-old was rushed to hospital, where she died this morning.
Derbyshire Constabulary said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the girl at this difficult time."
A 19-year-old woman, understood to be the driver of the car, suffered minor injuries in the smash.
Cops said she has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
She has been discharged from hospital into police custody, police said.

The crash closed the A514 between Stanton by Bridge and Ticknall for a number of hours, Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said.
Police are now urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
