The fighter, 32, has vowed to match the sum with a donation to a charity of the buyer’s choice.
Chris tweeted that he wanted to make the sale “a more meaningful situation”.
The Sun told of the mounting bids on Friday.
The fan sold the microwave after footage of his encounter with the middleweight ace went viral.
Chris was mingling with fans in Newcastle before beating Germany’s Wanik Awdijan in a fight on Tyneside earlier this month.
When asked for his autograph, Chris, right, laughed and said: “Not the microwave?”. The fan said: “It’s the only thing I’ve got.”
