On January 25, 2022, Dr. Alexey Gromyko, Director of the Institute of Europe (Russian Academy of Sciences), took part in the webinar "Europe and Russia – is there room for a dialogue?".

       The event was organized by the Center for Advanced Strategic Security and Integration Studies (CASSIS) in cooperation with the Friedrich-Naumann Foundation. Other speakers were: Ute Kochlowski-Kadjaia, Project leader Russia and Central Asia at Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit; Dr. Alexander Sergunin, Professor of International Relations at St. Petersburg State University and Dr. Hans-Dieter Heumann, President (ret.) of the Bundesakademie für Sicherheitspolitk (BAKS). Dr. Joachim Weber, Senior Fellow at CASSIS, University of Bonn and ISPK, University of Kiel, moderated the discussion.
