       KUWAIT CITY, April 17: Five oil companies have hired 443 expatriates under direct employment contracts over the past five years, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. The source revealed that Kuwait National Petroleum Company has employed 288 expatriates since fiscal 2017/2018 till date, 97 for Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC), 26 for Petrochemical Industries Company, 25 for Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), and seven for Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC).

       The source confirmed that the recruitment of expatriates in the oil sector is within the specified limit and the difficult technical jobs for which no local manpower is available
