Nigel Farage is said to have told colleagues he will not be involved in Reform UK's general election battle.
Farage is said to have decided to stick with his high-profile television work during the next campaign.
TV rules would mean he would have to temporarily step back from his role as a host on GB News if he decided to run or campaign for Reform UK.
A source reportedly told The Sun: "Nigel will stay on the telly - which means he won’t be running or getting heavily involved in the election campaign.”

Westminster politicians have been waiting to see what Brexiteer Farage will do in the upcoming general election after his succesful stint on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! - where he finished in third behind winner Sam Thompson and runner-up Tony Bellew.
And while Farage has already ruled out running as an MP, Reform insiders believe he could supercharge their campaign should he give them his full support during the campaign.
