HULU SELANGOR: Four police reports have been lodged in connection with tiger sightings in the district.
Hulu Selangor deputy OCPD Deputy Supt Mohd Asri Mohd Yunus said the police have informed the Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) of the sightings.
“A tiger was seen in Batang Kali, Goh Tong Jaya, Serendah and Kuala Kubu Baru.
“We informed Perhilitan so that they can take early action to ensure the safety of residents in the affected areas,” he said.
Perhilitan has also installed several cameras to locate the tiger, he added.
“We urge the public to stay vigilant and be careful while conducting activities such as farming and hiking,” he said in a statement yesterday.
DSP Mohd Asri also advised the public to remain calm and not be distressed over the sightings.

“We urge the public to come forward if they have any information to assist the police.
